I was on a webinar recently and the presenter started off with these two statements. The facts are that if you are not providing the services and products that people need, then your business is not going to be a success but if you are and you don’t know how to market them, then you won’t succeed either.
That deals with the first quote but Darwin’s assertion also holds true for business because you also need to adapt your service to fulfil the needs of the market that is, rather than the market that you want it to be.
Why Key Words are important
I had a conversation about this recently with a potential customer who wants to do a website redesign. He talked about choosing which of their many possible services he wanted to offer. However, as I explained, it would be far better to do the key word research first and then provide the services that people are actively searching for.
